There’s no doubt about it; one of the coolest parts of anime is the amazing range of weapons that the heroes and villains wield. Even if you are not much of an anime fan yourself, you will be able to appreciate the incredible range of powerful weapons and tools that these characters wield; they range from simple axes and swords to powerful and lethal futuristic devices. Get ready to have your inner warlord unlocked!

The Dominator

These devices from the popular show “Psycho Pass” will only allow their user to wield them; no one else could pick up the Dominator and use it against the Law Enforcement officer who owns it. This powerful gun also reads the mental stability of its intended target and will adapt accordingly; it will show no mercy if the target is a killer, but will only stun people that mean less harm.

Death Scythe

This powerful weapon is the most dangerous tool in the world of the Black Butler series. It has the ability to cut through literally anything in existence. The Grim Reapers use this tool to kill people; this weapon is the only thing that can permanently kill anyone. Even the Grim Reapers themselves can be killed by this weapon, making it one of the most powerful weapons in any anime series!

The Tessaiga

This weapon wielded by InuYasha was forged from the tooth of a demon and now goes to work killing demons everywhere. This sword has a huge range of abilities; it can block almost any attack, and it can absorb the powers of other weapons used against it. It can create barriers to protect InuYasha, and it can change its form to look like whatever it needs to. InuYasha can kill over 100 demons with a single swing of the blade.

The Cross Punisher

This weapon is one of the most grossly overpowered weapons in an TV series ever. Wielded by Nicholas D. Wolfwood, an assassin with a heart of gold, this weapon has the powers of a 1 man army. It weighs over 300 lbs, and can unleash so many bullets at once that it seems like there is a squadron firing at his enemies. You can have a portion of the power of the Cross Punisher when you get an air rifle from Rifle Judge.

The Jericho 941 R

This gun is wielded by Spike Spiegal in Cowboy Bebop. This powerful pistol has a built-in scope and a powerful punch. This pistol’s power comes from the fact that it’s design is so simple; it doesn’t need anything fancy to get the job done. A space cowboy’s best friend is his trusty pistol!

Anime, more so than any other entertainment medium, has some of the most powerful weapons of any type of TV or movie. You don’t want to mess with anyone handling any of these amazing weapons! If you want powerful guns and swords, just look to any of these amazing stories!

You know you’re a true anime addict when can’t seem to wait for opening track to end. I guess everyone’s a serial offender! We just don’t have the patience to sit through roughly a minute of musical score.

But I have to admit, there are some anime soundtracks that are just too magnetic that you’d hate to skip it. Today I decided to make a list of my favorite themes for anime TV series. I’ve only considered the opening themes for this list.

So, we’re ready to get started!

  1. Cowboy Bebop

Pardon me if I say this one’s the best anime soundtrack ever! Who wouldn’t love this jazzy anime theme? Yoko Kanno did an extra mile – forming a band called the Seatbelts – to come up with this outstanding anime theme. He is also known for making OSTs for other anime classics like Ghost in Shell: Stand Alone Complex.

  1. Wolf’s Rain

This one surely belongs in my fave list. For someone who has tried to learn how to play digital piano, my ears seem to be biased towards soundtracks played on piano. Yep, I did try to study playing piano in school and I still occasionally play this theme on my digital piano. I read about this piano model at https://digitalpianojudge.com/ and it’s really great for playing anime themes. Oh, back to Wolf’s Rain OST, it just perfectly suits the mood, theme and tone of the series. Unless you hate emo, soul or lonely soundtracks, I’m certain you’ll love this too.

  1. FLCL

Third in my list is the FLCL soundtrack. Would you skip a theme as magnetic as this one? This anime series OST has transformed The Pillows from being an indie J-Rock band into a mainstream band with enjoyed a brief popularity among anime fans around the world.

  1. Guilty Crown

Forget about the story, the writing, the characters – just listen to this anime’s soundtrack. This anime may have botched on other aspects but it surely sounds perfect! All tracks in the OST was composed and produced by Hiroyuki Sawano; Supercell provided music for the opening and ending.

  1. Code Geass

Official soundtracks for this anime were provided by Hitomi Kuroishi and Kotaro Nakagawa. Not only do they sound great and dramatic, they also add the much needed backdrop in scenes that provide giant plot twists.

  1. Mushishi

Produced by Toshio Masuda, the soft music of Mushishi effectively brings out the tone of the series. I don’t really understand why whit anime OST is understated but, ironically, it seems to make it stand out. Of course, Masuda is not new in the world of anime music – he also wrote the melodies for the original Narutor anime.

  1. Samurai Champloo

This list won’t be complete without these OSTs. It’s equally good as its sister series Bebop. The concept of adding dance and samurai is so fresh and the music around that theme is also perfect! Truly, the combination of these two makes it an outstanding and excellent anime soundtrack!

There you have it – the best anime OSTs I recommend that you listen too. Did I miss out on your fave anime theme?
